Our Mission Statement
Heartsong Hospice’s mission is to provide compassionate, personalized care during life’s final journey. We support patients and families by managing symptoms, easing emotional and spiritual burdens, and helping them navigate medical and legal steps with clarity and kindness. Our goal is to bring comfort, dignity, and peace to every person we serve.
The Philosophy of Hospice
Hospice began as a humanitarian movement whose purpose was to improve the quality of life for those who were terminally ill. This remains the guiding spirit of the modern day Hospice. Aware of the complexity of the human spirit and the multidimensional needs of the patient, family and/or caregivers, the modern day hospice blends traditional medical care with specific modalities developed to meet the needs of this special group of people.
Hospice care is centered on the patient and family/caregiver as an individual unit. Its goal is to provide those essential ingredients which will enhance the life of the patient/family/caregiver unit by providing medical, nursing, psychosocial and spiritual care and support.
